West Linn-Wilsonville COVID-19 Data by School and Building
To ensure our community is provided with the most recent and accurate information, the COVID-19 Dashboard will be update daily. The COVID-19 Dashboard reflects all cases where people were present in WLWV schools during their infectious period and/or their case was reported by OHA as being connected to a WLWV school. The Dashboard reflects cases as during the 2021-22 school year.
In accordance with public health, our schools work diligently to ensure that proper guidelines are followed to isolate the student/staff diagnosed with COVID-19, identify close contacts, and disinfect areas of the school when notified of a positive case. If you have been identified as a close contact as a result of exposure in our buildings, you will receive a personal and confidential notification, along with additonal guidance.
"Quarantine" includes individuals who might have been exposed to COVID-19 or who have recently had close contact with someone with COVID-19.
"Close Contact" includes individuals who were within 6 feet of an infected person, while unmasked, for at least 15 minutes.
"Isolation" includes individuals who have symptoms of COVID-19 and individuals who are asymptomatic but have tested positive for infection with SARS-CoV-2.
"Positive" only includes individuals with a lab-confirmed positive test.
COVID-19 Dashboard Updating Process
The COVID-19 Dashboard is updated daily (when possible) in consultation with District Nurses and in alignment with Oregon Health Authority (OHA) reporting. Any individual (staff or student) who we learn may have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 (based on Jan. 14, 2022 Oregon Health Authority guidance) will be contacted by school personnel as part of the contact tracing process. District nurses or designated school staff will provide individuals with instructions in the event that someone has been exposed to a positive case. School communities will not receive an email every time there is an individual case of COVID-19, however. The Dashboard is updated as the District learns of positive cases. There may be instances of short delay for updating case rates to the Dashboard.
