Mrs. Terrall

My name is Lisa Terrall (rhymes with “Carol”) and I am very pleased to be teaching 5th grade again this year at Bolton Primary School.  I am an Oregon native, having been raised in Gladstone, and live locally with my husband, our dog Rosie, and our cat Luna. We have two wonderful daughters that are attending Oregon State University, so we are empty nesters. My husband and I are both Oregon State alumni and season ticket holders for football. Our team isn't very good, but we have fun at the games anyway and have the added bonus of getting to see our daughters in Corvallis on game days.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from Oregon State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis & Clark College. I have been an intermediate grades teacher for 26 years now, 23 of which have been with the West Linn - Wilsonville School District. I have taught a variety of grade levels and configurations over the years, from 3rd to 6th grade, blends, straight grades, and loops.  I love working with this age group because students are becoming interested in and opening up to the world around them, political events, social issues and are really able to begin thinking more globally about ideas and concepts. It's an exciting time, both developmentally and socially!

I am excited to be working with Ms. Jones again and we are happy to be welcoming Mrs. Maxwell to the 5th grade team. We have lots of wonderful things planned and it's going to be a great year!
