Voluntary Life Insurance helps protect and secure your family’s future in the event of death.


West Linn-Wilsonville School District offers the opportunity for you to purchase additional coverage for yourself and for your family members.  Your election may be made in $10,000 increments, not to exceed 5 times your salary or $300,000, whichever is less.


For Voluntary Life on yourself, your spouse, and your children, you are only eligible for Guarantee Issue amounts if you are a NEWLY ELIGIBLE employee of West Linn-Wilsonville School District.


Otherwise, coverage elected will be subject to completion and approval of the Statement of Insurability form. Email the form to Membership@USAbleLife.com within seven (7) days of submit your enrollment.

Legal Shield


Expected and unexpected legal issues arise every day.  Legal Shield Legal Plan gives you access to legal advice and counseling on an unlimited number of personal legal issues from lawyers with an average of 19 years of experience.


With the ID Shield Plan, members have unlimited access to identity consultation services provided by Licensed Private Investigators.  The Investigator will advise members on best practices for identity management tailored to a member's specific situations.

PERS - Public Employees Retirement System

West Linn-Wilsonville School District contributes 6% of gross pay to PERS on behalf of all employees that meet the 6 month waiting period and 600 hours per year threshold.  Please follow the link to learn more.

Supplemental Retirement Savings Programs

The West Linn-Wilsonville School District offers two excellent programs through which you may contribute a portion of your current income into supplemental retirement savings accounts.  The programs are the WLWV 403(b) Tax Sheltered Annuity Program and the WLWV 457(b) Deferred Compensation Program.
