About Preschool

NOTE: Preschool in Oregon is an optional program and the district receives no state funding for preschool. We rely on tuition to cover the costs for staffing and to keep our preschool program going. We base our preschool program on an enrollment of 15-16 children in each preschool classroom to raise enough tuition to cover the staffing costs (one teacher, one paraeducator). We will need enrollment from 15-16 tuition paying families to actually run each school program. Once we have enough enrollment, we will let families know right away that the class is confirmed.

Cedaroak Park Primary

Cedaroak Park will offer:

3-hour program from 8:10 a.m. - 11:10 a.m. This program is 5 days per week.

Tuition consists of 9 monthly payments of $1,500 for the full day program and $677 for the 3-hour program. There is a $200 deposit to join either program. This program is full but families can still register and be added to the wait list.

Cedaroak Park Primary's preschool program is open to 3- and 4-year old students.

Sunset Primary

Willamette Primary

Willamette plans to offer a 4-hour program from 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. This program is 5 days per week. This program still has space for any interested families.

Tuition consists of 9 monthly payments of $925. There is a $200 deposit to join the program.

This program is open to 3- and 4-year-olds.

About the Preschool Program

Early childhood programs in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District are based on the belief that young children "learn by doing". The complex interaction of thinking and experience determines the pace and range of each child's learning and skill development. The goal of our program is to engage children in experiences that enhance the natural processes of physical and intellectual growth. Parents and teachers are partners in support of children's development. Together we create active, productive classrooms and provide enriching home experiences for learning.
