• PSAT Test date: Wednesday, October 11th, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  All students will test until 12:30 p.m., then be released for lunch.  Buses will depart at 1:10 p.m.

    Freshmen: Freshmen who wish to take the PSAT may do so by paying the $18 registration fee to the bookkeeper. Registration deadline is Tuesday, September 19th. Students taking the exam can now pick up a study booklet/practice test, available in the media center. Freshmen who are not taking the PSAT should not come to school on October 11th.

    Sophomores: All sophomores are automatically registered to take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 11th here at West Linn High (as mandated and paid by the State of Oregon). Students taking the exam can now pick up a study booklet/practice test, available in the media center.

    Juniors: All college-bound juniors should register for the PSAT (Practice SAT) by paying the $18 registration fee to the bookkeeper. Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 19th. Please note: to qualify for National Merit Scholarships, students must take the PSAT during their Junior year. Students taking the exam can now pick up a study booklet/practice test, available in the media center. Juniors who are not taking the PSAT should not come to school on October 11th.

    Seniors: Seniors who have already taken the SAT do not need to take the PSAT. Seniors who wish to take the PSAT (because they have not yet taken the SAT) may do so by paying the $18 registration fee to the bookkeeper. Registration deadline is Tuesday, September 19th. Students taking the exam can now pick up a study booklet/practice test, available in the media center. Seniors who are not taking the PSAT should not come to school on October 11th.

    All students will be dismissed from school at 12:30 PM. Buses will depart at 1:10 PM. 
     
    Note:  PSAT payment to WLHS = registration
    No further action is needed if you have paid.
     
      

    To verify if your student is paid/registered please go to Family Link, then select the Activities link. On Monday, October 9th the classroom assignments will also be posted at the same location on Family Link.

     

     The test is free to all sophomores -- all sophomores are automatically registered to take the test.

     To register, simply bring in the $18 registration fee in cash or check to the bookkeeper, or pay online via the Student Web Store. Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 19th. If paid in person, a receipt showing payment will be issued.

    Where do I go on test day? Students will be assigned to a specific classroom in which they will take the test. The classroom assignment will be available on Monday, October 9th on Family Link then select the Activities link.

    Students who are not taking the test do not report to school on PSAT test day.

     Breakfast will be served before school, but lunch will not be served. 
     
     Buses will operate on regular morning schedules and take students home at 12:30 p.m.
     
     Juniors - Be sure to sign up to take the SAT after your student has had ample time to review their PSAT results and study for the SAT. Register for the SAT online at www.collegeboard.com
