On Wednesday, April 27, the first concrete pour was conducted at the New Athey Creek Middle School Bond Project. The pour consisted of building footings closest to Dollar Street, which will become the back walls of the gym. The City conducted their first building inspections prior to the pour, and Special Inspectors were on site during the installation to take samples of the concrete. The next concrete pour will occur next week as the Contractor continues to form the footings through the first two sectors of the building.
