College Admission Testing (ACT, SAT/PSAT & SAT Prep)

  • SAT & ACT

The SAT and the ACT are both college admission tests.  Both are accepted for admission into most colleges and universities.  Wilsonville High School is a test administration site for the SAT in May of each year. All other administrations of both tests must be taken elsewhere.  Students must go directly to the website for the respective tests for which they would like to register to select their test location ( or If a student needs to take a test, it is recommended that students begin taking their SAT and/or ACT in the spring of their junior year and no later than December of their senior year.  Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, most colleges (over 1,600) have dropped the testing requirement from the admissions process. Students should make sure to check the admissions sites of the schools to which they plan to apply or contact their Graduation Mentor.
