Meet the Team
Learning Specialists (Special Education Teachers)
Learning Specialists case manage students' IEPs (Individual Education Plans), implement specially designed instruction, train, and direct instructional support staff, provide accessibility supports, and collaborate with classroom teachers to provide instruction in an inclusive setting.
Danielle currently supports students at Cedaroak Park Primary in grades 3-5. When not at work, she enjoys going for walks, hiking, coaching, exploring, going on road trips, and spending time with her friends and family...especially her dog, Marley.
School-based Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) provide speech-language services in primary, middle, high, and post-high school to support access to curriculum. This includes collaborating with other disciplines, screening, assessing, intervening, and referring for the full range of communication disorders, including those involving language, articulation (speech sounds), fluency (stuttering), voice/resonance, alternative/augmentative communication, and social and functional communication. SLPs are also members of Feeding Teams, which evaluate and plan safe eating protocols.
Nailah has been an SLP in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District since 2015 and currently supports students at Cedaroak Park Primary and Wilsonville High schools. When not at work, she enjoys singing, hiking, kayaking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family...especially her two sons Teagan and Kylar.
The school psychologist's primary role is assisting schools with special education identification, evaluation, and program planning.
Nicole has worked within the West Linn-Wilsonville School District for the last six years. In addition to being a part of the team at Cedaroak Park Primary, she also serves at Boones Ferry Primary and Meridian Creek Middle School. She is grateful every day to be a part of this inclusive, inviting, and engaging community!
