• The  Middle School Science Fair season follows this typical timeline: 
     
    • September - November:   Develop Science Question and Experiment Design
    • December:                      Approval of Experiment and Supply Ordering
    • January:                         Conduct Experiment and Create Presentation Board
    • February:                        West Linn-Wilsonville Middle School Science Fair
     
    The West Linn-Wilsonville (WLWV) Middle School Science Fair will be on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Meridian Creek Middle School in Wilsonville, Oregon.  Students will compete for category awards, scholarships, cash prizes and special awards.  
     
    The schedule for the day is as follows:
     
    • Judging interviews, 12 - 3 p.m.
    • Public viewing of projects, 6:00 - 7:15 p.m.
    • Awards ceremony, 7:15 - 8:00 p.m. 
     
    Those selected to advance from the WLWV Middle School Science Fair will attend advanced middle school competition at the  Northwest Science Expo (State Science Fair) on April 10, 2020.  Projects may also be nominated to apply for Broadcom Masters (a national science fair program).
