Welcome to Second Grade!
Ni hao! My name is Rebekah McSpadden and I am thrilled to be teaching at Sunset. I previously taught in Taiwan for six years and the Czech Republic for two years in preschool through sixth grade, before moving back to the United States. I completed my masters at University of Portland, during which I interned at Catlin Gabel in first grade. In the past five years at Sunset, I taught 1st, 1/2 blend, and 2nd grade. I love teaching here!
I love teaching second grade, because it is a year of great growth and exploration! Our class mottos are "Mistakes are where we do our best learning" and "The more you practice the better you get!"
