To better support each student individually, and to ensure each student’s success, teachers complete a Progress Report for each student in their classes during Week 3 and Week 6 of each 9-week quarter. Teachers meet with each student to review the reports and to make suggestions for improvements in the class. As a staff team, we use the information from these reports and conferences to develop groupings for our Friday Intensives, a bi-weekly opportunity for students to receive targeted support from teachers in small group settings. We also expect that these frequent progress reports and conferences with teachers will give students “real-time” information and strategies that will help them to be more successful academically. Progress Reports are sent via US Mail the during Week 4 and Week 7 of each quarter.
Semester Report Cards are sent home via US mail at the end of the first semester and at the end of the year.
