The Clackamas Career and Technical Education Consortium (C-TEC) Youth Services provides education, training, and employment opportunities for low-income students with barriers to employment. As stated on their website, “C-TEC is a consortium of schools and partners Clackamas County committed to creating high quality pathways from education to the workforce. The consortium prioritizes partnership, collaboration, innovation and leveraged resources to provide high quality programs and efficient use of public resources. C-TEC supports Career and Technical Education programs, Advanced College Credit, School to Careers activities, and the Workforce Investment Act Youth Program (C-TEC Youth Services).” The District’s partnership with C-TEC is growing rapidly as we look to provide diverse ways for students to gain college credit, have meaningful work and career experiences, and support CTE and STEM education in and out of school.
