    ROOM 201 – MR. BRODELL

Hello and welcome! I am very excited about the year to come and am so happy to be working with you for a successful fifth grade year! My background is in teaching English in France and Taiwan, and in Seattle, at the University of Washington. After studying abroad in Grenoble, France, through Seattle University, I took my first teaching job in France, in 2008. I absolutely loved it! I’m fluent in French and dedicated to language learning, and my family speaks Mandarin Chinese at home. Teaching is truly my passion, and I am always keeping up with new research and trends that can benefit our learning. My first Master’s degree is in Teaching English and my second is in Elementary Education. I strive to make learning engaging and accessible for each person. I aim to tap into their interests and provide flexible outcomes to show their learning. For me, a key stepping stone to great success comes in providing an environment and curriculum that is stimulating, comfortable, and positive. My job, as a partner in your learner's education, is to work together with you and with the school community to develop your child’s unlimited potential to learn and to achieve their personal best.

If you have any questions or want to stop by Room 201 to say hi, to volunteer, or to see what we're working on, don’t hesitate to contact me.

    Sincerely,

    Nick Brodell
