Welcome! I am thrilled to welcome you and your child to my classroom this year. If you have found your way to this page, then you might be interested to learn a little bit more about me.

I am a native of Colorado, and I spent my childhood playing soccer, singing in choirs, reading, and generally enjoying the great outdoors of the Denver area with my siblings. I attended college in northern California, and I later moved to Portland for law school in 2006. A lifelong learner, I have tried on a few different career hats, and I found my happiest of happy places when I earned my Masters in Teaching and began my teaching career in 2013. I spent two years teaching in different parts of California before returning "home" to Portland. This is my fifth year teaching at Athey Creek, and I couldn't possibly be more excited.

When I'm not at school or thinking about school, you will likely find me hiking with my family, reading a good book, laughing with my young son, throwing a tennis ball for our two rescue pups, and otherwise enjoying the good life with my family.
