We have two updates to share regarding the West Linn High School Stadium Project.
Considerable progress has been made in clearing out the site for the new parking lot. Fabric and the first layer of rock is being installed at areas where finish grade has already been met. Excavation for the new plaza adjacent the existing stadium has begun. The track is being protected during this process to allow for heavy equipment to access the stadium for improvements.
We would also like to remind the community that the entire track and field area are closed to the school and to the public during construction.
This closure will extend through the summer and into the early fall for public safety. Closure signs have been posted around the site to remind community members and the district asks that the public observe the closure during construction. Thank you for your patience and partnership as we complete these improvements that will serve the greater community for years to come.
