WHS Performing Arts Center Project Underway

Posted by West Linn - Wilsonville School District on 7/26/2021

Over the last year, in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders, WLWV has been hard at work designing the new Wilsonville High School Performing Arts Center. During the bidding process, Todd Construction was the successful general contractor for the work. Work has started today, July 26th.

The first part of the construction includes site utility work and reconstruction of the main entrance into the Wilsonville High School Site. This initial preparation work will last through the rest of the summer. Once school is back in session work will be focused on the new auditorium addition through the Fall of 2022.

In support of the initial site and utility work the main entrance to Wilsonville High School will be CLOSED for the duration of the summer. Access to the school during this time will be through the Boeckman Creek Primary School driveway and parking lot and building access through the high school rear courtyard entrance doors. Please follow signage on site. If you need additional assistance with entry into the site or building, phone numbers for the school’s main office and the Family Empowerment Center will also be posted. The district recognizes the inconvenience this temporary traffic revision will have on the public who will be accessing the site for various activities and is working with the construction team to minimize impact during and keep the duration of this closure as short as possible. Thank you for your understanding during this time.

As construction ramps up, additional updates will be provided as site conditions change and construction milestones reached.
