Welcome to 6th grade language arts at Meridian Creek Middle School!
Together, we are growing in our reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills so that we can be better communicators and thinkers for ourselves, families, and communities.
This is my 13th year as a teacher, and my 5th year at Meridian Creek Middle School. I am proud to be a founding teacher of our school! My husband, one-year-old son, golden retriever, and I live in Tualatin. We love to be outdoors, cook, and travel all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond. You can also find us playing the piano or reading together.
I am available for extra help on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-4:15. Students may either be picked up at that time or go to Homework Club in the library to wait for a parent ride or to ride the activity bus home. Send me an e-mail or have your student send me an e-mail to let me know they are coming in for some extra help. I LOVE it when students come in for extra time.
All handouts and assignments with due dates are listed on our Google Classroom. Parents are only able to get access to the Google Classroom by e-mailing me and requesting to be invited. I am more than happy to do this if you e-mail me at baldwinm@wlwv.k12.or.us to request access. Another option is to use your student's log-in to access the classroom. They can give you this information.
