• Hello and welcome to Meridian Creek Middle School! I am proud to be a part of this amazing Meridian staff.  

    My name is Carly Clark, and I am originally from Newport, Oregon on the central Oregon coastline. I've taught a multitude of subjects, including Language Arts, Social Studies, and ELD at Meridian Creek since the fall of 2018.  

    I am an alumnus of Oregon State University, earning my Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish and Oregon State University-Cascades, earning my Master of Arts in Secondary Language Arts Education with a Social Studies emphasis. This is my 7th year teaching in the WLWV School District and my 10th year teaching overall (3 years spent teaching high school Social Studies in Central Oregon). 

    During my free time, I find myself venturing back to my hometown to visit my family and enjoy the fresh seafood. Additionally, I enjoy hiking through the mountainous terrain of the Cascade Range, paddle boarding, snowboarding, and traveling around the world. I spent my summer enjoying the sunshine in the Pacific North West and traveling to Costa Rica and Panama with the Travel Program.

    I look forward to another wonderful year at Meridian!
