You can access these by opening up “My Computer” on the desktop, or by going to “Available Drives” from the Start button.
C:/(hard drive) This is the local computer. Nothing should be saved here.
H:/(home drive) This is a drive available only to you that is accessible from any computer in the school district. This is a great place to store grades, all your word docs, and mostly everything you would want to access from anywhere. Items on the h: drive will never be deleted unless YOU delete them.
K:/ (student common drive) Any student or staff member can store and delete items here. Great for projects, group work, etc. Students will see a folder for each class that they have. Only students that are in those classes will have access to those folders.
