Field Trips

  • Teachers plan a few field trips per year where students are transported by school bus to a variety of destinations to enhance classroom learning throughout the year. These trips frequently involve parent volunteers to assist with supervision. Parents are informed of the trips when permission slips are sent home with the children to be signed by the parent and returned to the classroom. With an historical Willamette downtown area and a park close by, students have the opportunity to take walking field trips on a couple of occasions. To cover the walking field trips, students bring home a permission slip at the beginning of the school year for parents to sign and return to the teacher.
