Our purpose in working with students is to help them develop behavioral patterns that reflect the values of honesty, integrity, respect, responsibility, compassion, kindness, and courage.  We assign natural and logical consequences in response to student behaviors that are not congruent with these values. Our purpose is to guide students to make more appropriate behavior choices in the future.

Because the behavior problems of students vary in the degree of seriousness, the restorative actions to be taken must be determined by all parties involved.  For more detailed information refer to WLWV district policy section J.

The district shall be responsible for the safety and protection of each student in its care; an effective working relationship will be established with law enforcement officials to accomplish this.
