• Bienvenue au monde Francophone!

I am a native French speaker, and excited to be teaching 6th & 7th grade French this year!

Here is a Letter to Families that explains in detail all course content and requirements.

A few reminders (this was sent home in an email on 4/6).

Please note that DAILY ATTENDANCE IS CRITICAL. ALL STUDENTS should attend the ENTIRE class period every day whether on Zoom or at home. Class begins at 1:25 M-Th, and at 11:20 on Friday.

Grades are now updated in ParentVue and StudentVue. There is usually one graded assignment per week; assignments vary and include skills such as reading, writing, and speaking. Note: NTI means Not Turned In. An NTI means that assignments should be completed and turned in ASAP! Details on what to do for each assignment are posted in Google Classroom.

Chromebooks & notebooks: Students should have their charged laptop, notebook and writing utensil ready for every class (whether at home or at school). There are some occasions when they can color, so having a few colored pencils on hand is also helpful.

Notebooks: Since we do not have textbooks, it is very important for students to write all the class notes in their notebook. I provide lots of time for note taking during class. If they miss a day, students need to log in to Google Classroom and copy down the notes from that day, and also watch the videos.
