The registrar, Alison Steinberg, will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Our new On Line Registration system is now open! This is the quickest way to get the process started. Follow the link to create an account (if new to the district) and get started: https://synergy.wlwv.k12.or.us/PXP2_OEN_Login.aspx
. There are instructions along the way, and you will have a choice of either uploading some documents or dropping them off at/mailing them to school, depending on your preference and the technology available to you. As the building is closed, please do call to arrange a time and drop off details.
The Registration Forms link you see to your left provides all the forms you will need to register your child.
There are 6 in all: the Registration Form, Home Language Survey, Oregon Certificate of Immunization, Exchange of Confidential Information Form, Health Form, and Google Apps Agreement.
We also require a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport, as well as confirmation of your residence in the Rosemont Ridge boundary. Some examples include a recent utility bill or rental agreement. Feel free to blot out any sensitive information when sharing such paperwork with us, leaving the name and address visible. For a list of district approved documents, click here.
Note that there are date guidelines.
If you do not have access to the online system (the fastest way to get registered), you may still proceed with paperwork. You will print off the 6 forms located in the “Registration Forms” section. You can fill them out and submit them by scanning them and emailing them to the registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do NOT submit photographs of filled out forms. Please remember to include a document from the accepted list to verify your address, as well as a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport.
If you prefer to mail them; the address is
Rosemont Ridge Middle School
Attn: Alison Steinberg
20001 Salamo Rd
West Linn, OR 97068
Please note that photographs of filled-in forms attached to an email/contained in the body of an email are not accepted. We will accept a photo of your child’s birth certificate/passport if that is more convenient than scanning that particular document.
Please check the school calendar for the New Family Orientation which will be held via Zoom meeting, on August 26 at 9:30am. Click on the calendar entry for Zoom meeting ID and password.
Once you have registered your student, you and your student will have the opportunity to forecast for classes for the upcoming school year. Please follow the appropriate grade level link on our home page. You'll find it in the top right hand corner of the homem page.
You will also want to purchase supplies in preparation for the school year; you will find the lists here
. A few items may be added by classroom teachers once school is in session. Teachers will communicate this to students.
We invite you to sign up for the Listserv
. This is our primary method of communication with families. Our email list is opt-in, not opt-out. You must sign up in order to receive these communications. Rosemont Ridge does not regularly share information in a paper format. You will need to be on 2 lists for your Rosemont student: the general RRMS-All Homes
list as well as the specific year of your child's high school graduation (RRMS-20XX
). For the 2020-2021 school year, 6th grade families should sign up for RRMS-2027, 7th grade families should sign up for RRMS-2026, and 8th grade families should sign up for RRMS-2025. You will be able to manage your subscription(s) for all children attending WLWV schools from this link. These (approximately) weekly emails will keep you informed with school matters.
Please read the "Welcome Letter and RRMS Policies Overview" page for a helpful overview of Rosemont Coyote life. As many of these policies are pre-COVID 19, we will add and share updated information when we have it. Parents will receive a mailing in early September with more detailed information that will get families ready for the school year. You can also expect Listserv emails as the start to the school year becomes closer. Please note that the first day of school for all grades (6, 7 and 8) has been moved to September 8, 2020.
