What a great first month of math with all of your kids! We are doing a bit of review with LCM, GCF and order of operations, but also introducing foundational algebraic ideas of distributive property, solving for unknowns, and some prime factorization. For my regular classes we'll be studying ratio and rate and those concepts relate to fractions, decimals and percent, while the accelerated class having finish inverse method of algebra will be working quickly through fraction and decimal operations.
