Sally (Sara) Eskridge Hay   The Dalles, OR   hayranch@gorge.net

Homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and farmer

After attending PCC and working I married Jack Hay in 1970.  We moved in 1974 to run the family wheat farm 10 miles east of The Dalles.  We have one son, John, who is married and has two sons.  While Jack was active in a wheat organization (OWGL) we traveled all over the country meeting many wonderful people in the agriculture industry and university system.  Today we are enjoying friends, family, and new experiences.

Favorite memory:  A wonderful English teacher, Mrs. Cannon, I had my sophomore and junior years.  Driver's training not so much fun, football games under the lights were the best, great friends and slumber parties remain the most outstanding memories of my high school years.

I've enjoyed every reunion and can't thank the committees enough for their hard work.  If any of the chums from our class are able they should come the reunions, you'll be so glad you did . . . no one remembers that you accidentally walked into the wrong restroom, ha!

I am looking forward to moving to the Eugene area in a year or so.  My daughter Sally lives there with my youngest grandson, JoJo, who is now three.  My youngest daughter Beth lives in New York with her husband and daughter Allora, who is now one and a half.  I was very fortunate to be able to fly out last September for Allora's first birthday.  My oldest daughter Gina still lives in Corbett, Oregon, and my son Jonathan and his wife live in Caldwell, Idaho.  My oldest son, Joe, passed away twenty years ago--what a terrible time.  My children and I all keep in touch, sometimes daily, and sometimes weekly, still very close to them, and miss them greatly.  Now how about all of you?
