Homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and farmer
After attending PCC and working I married Jack Hay in 1970. We moved in 1974 to run the family wheat farm 10 miles east of The Dalles. We have one son, John, who is married and has two sons. While Jack was active in a wheat organization (OWGL) we traveled all over the country meeting many wonderful people in the agriculture industry and university system. Today we are enjoying friends, family, and new experiences.
Favorite memory: A wonderful English teacher, Mrs. Cannon, I had my sophomore and junior years. Driver's training not so much fun, football games under the lights were the best, great friends and slumber parties remain the most outstanding memories of my high school years.
I've enjoyed every reunion and can't thank the committees enough for their hard work. If any of the chums from our class are able they should come the reunions, you'll be so glad you did . . . no one remembers that you accidentally walked into the wrong restroom, ha!
Mother and Grandma
I married Ron Sheron in l966 and we have two beautiful daughters...Angela 38 , Monika 36, and three precious grandsons . . . 2-4-6!! I love them to bits and pieces . . .
Ron passed away in 2001 of pancreatic cancer . . . We miss him so much, but it was a true blessing when he passed, as he suffered so badly . . . PC is a beast, gives you little warning, and takes you fast.
I spend my time with my family, gardening, golfing, and traveling.
Favorite memory: All good memories, but I guess riding to all the sporting events in the "bus" was one of my cherished memories . . . so much laughing and excitement . . .
We all have lived in Bellevue, WA for the past 33 years . . . Please give me a call if you are up in the Seattle area . . .would love to have you over, or meet you for coffee/wine . . . 425-644-3031Retired from Farmer's Insurance.I retired in 2008 as Senior Natural Resources Analyst for the U.S. Government Accountability Office. My kids are now adults and I'm saving money to travel.
I like the quote, "If you can remember the '60s, you weren't really there." It's a good excuse for fuzzy memories anyway!
