The purpose of this website is to provide students and their guardians with information regarding the classes that I will be teaching this year – with that, hello! I'm Mr. Mooney, and this will be my fifth year at West Linn High School. I am very excited to join the community and spend the next year learning from the diversely talented staff and students at WLHS.

Before joining West Linn, I have worked as a theatre educator, camp counselor, and research assistant in Oregon, New York, and Minnesota (my home state). I attended Lewis & Clark College for my Masters of Arts in Teaching. Outside of the classroom, I am usually found standing in a river (as pictured above) or in a kitchen.
All assignments and relevant information can be found on Google Classroom

Grades will be updated (at the latest) every Friday afternoon. I weigh assignments by the following categories:

                            Essays 40%
                            Final 20%
                            Quizzes & Reading Comprehension 25%
                            Speech & Discussion 15%
