Welcome!
The purpose of this website is to provide students and their guardians with information regarding the classes that I will be teaching this year – with that, hello! I'm Mr. Mooney, and this will be my sixth year at West Linn High School. I am very excited to return to the community and spend the next year learning from the diversely talented staff and students at WLHS.
Before joining West Linn, I have worked as a theatre educator, camp counselor, and research assistant in Oregon, New York, and Minnesota (my home state). I attended Lewis & Clark College for my Masters of Arts in Teaching. Outside of the classroom, I am usually found standing in a river (as pictured above) or in a kitchen. If you have any questions about the courses I teach please feel free to email me, as that is the best way to contact me.AssignmentsAll assignments and relevant information can be found on Google Classroom
Grading
Only summative assessments will be entered in the grade book. Normally, summative assessments take anywhere from two to three weeks to grade.
Revisions are allowed on all major assignments that do not meet "proficient" on the WLHS rubric. Please contact me with any questions that are not answered on this site. My email address is mooneyr@wlwv.k12.or.us
