Mr. Nagler's Science Website
Hello and welcome back!!
I know you have questions about 3rd quarter grades and about how we will be running the class moving forward. Hopefully this starts to answer your questions.
First of all, I hope you are all doing well. Lately, I’ve switched my focus from being a high school teacher to a preschool teacher for my 2 and 4 year old daughters. Charlie is still working on the difference between a ‘W’ and an ‘M’, but she’s getting there! I am grateful that my family and I have been healthy so far and that all the sacrifices that people in Oregon are making is having an effect. If we can keep this up, as a state, we will avoid the worst outcomes from the coronavirus. Well done!
3rd Quarter Grades:
Flexibility is the name of the game…
- Any assignment I collected before we left on break, but was not yet entered into the gradebook will not be entered (will not change your grade).
- If you turned late work to the box, but you don’t see it entered into the gradebook, email me. I will work with you to get it fixed.
- If there is late work you were planning on doing but haven’t had a chance to yet, you can look on the class website under ‘handouts’ and see if you can complete it. If so, email me a picture of the work.
- Other concerns? Just email me! We will work out a solution together.
Deadline: Let’s get this all figured out by Friday, April 10.
