A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL, MR. KEVIN MILLS“The Power of the Lion is in the Pride”
Dear West Linn High School Parents, Guardians, and Students,
Welcome to the 2017-2018 School Year!
Heading into my third year as principal, I am honored to continue to serve our learning community. I am also very appreciative of our teachers’, students’, and community’s relentless focus on learning. Every year, our school is recognized as one of the top high schools in Oregon. Our dedicated teachers, supportive families, and highly motivated students allow us to continue this excellence.
We look forward to welcoming over 1,900 students this fall. We will have over 400 students entering their senior year along with 450 students beginning their freshman year! We take pride at West Linn High School in creating an environment where students thrive. We are a comprehensive high school, excelling in academics, athletics, arts, and community service. We create many opportunities for students to find success in many areas.
Above all, we strongly believe success comes from building strong relationships with our students and families. We strive to be transparent in our work and to communicate effectively to all stakeholders. We are all in this together, and we encourage all families and students to engage with us in our collective pursuit of lifelong learning.
If you have any questions or comments for me, please do not hesitate to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 503-673-7800. Again, welcome back to school! We look forward to getting to know you and your student as we work together this year and for years to come.
