My name is Andy West and I teach English 11 and English 12 here at West Linn High School. This is my 22nd year at WLHS and my 25th year of teaching high school English. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, my wife and I moved to Oregon in 1999, motivated by our love of the outdoors. My family and I bike, hike, fish, camp, etc. I typically bike-commute to school, but that is on hold for now at least, as I am still recovering from a broken thumb that required surgery. Yes, it was from a bike crash.
