May Day 1930

Queen Marian I

Attendants to the Queen were: Maid of Honor, Beth Anderson; Maids: Marie Schultze, Maxine Tuor, Peggy Smith, Josephine Zaniker, Leslie Fisher, and Bernice Rakel.

According to tradition, May Day has always been a day long looked forward to by the entire Student Body.  This year proved no exception when much enthusiasm was displayed on May 20, which was official May Day of 1930.

After the coronation, dances were given by the girls' physical training classes under the direction of Miss Florence E. Baker.

The students' guests, the eighth graders from the various grammar schools, participated in the relay races during the afternoon.  At noon a lunch was given them in the cafeteria.
