• Welcome

My name is Sean Shevlin. I am in my 6th year at West Linn High School and my 21st year of teaching high school math. I have taught in California, Kentucky, and Oregon throughout my career. This year I am teaching only AP Statistics and am excited to get started. A little bit about myself:  I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering. After exploring career opportunities, I decided I wanted to teach high school mathematics and coach Water Polo and Swimming. My first job was at my high school I went to in California. Good thing my teachers liked me because they were administrators when I returned and wanted to hire me. I went back to USC and earned my Master's Degree in Education in 2001 while I was teaching. I am excited to be teaching in our community of West Linn and look forward to meeting all of my new students this year.  It will be a different feel this year with COVID-19, but I will strive to prepare you for the AP Exam so come ready to work. Feel free to email me if you have any questions at shevlins@wlwv.k12.or.us
