     A little about Sra. Rodriguez!
     
    This year marks my 11th year of teaching - I was at Corvallis High School my first year while finishing my MAT - and this is my 10th year at West Linn!
    I feel so lucky to be teaching in such a great district, which also happens to be my alma mater district. I grew up in Wilsonville and attended Wilsonville Primary, Boones Ferrry Primary, Wood Middle School, and graduated from Wilsonville High School. After WVHS, I went to Western Oregon University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and later, went on to receive my Master of Arts in Teaching, also from WOU. I am also certified in ESOL and TEFL.
    I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and know we will have a great and successful year together!

    I met my husband, David, while attending WOU as an undergraduate student. 
    This is us (less than two months before we got married!) June 2015 after our commencement ceremony. He received his BA in Business and I received my MAT.

    This is our fur baby, Oliver! He is a 9-year-old black lab/border collie mix and loves to play, cuddle, and make us laugh!

    I have been so fortunate to have several opportunities to travel abroad to Spanish-speaking countries, most of which have been with students. I have been to Mexico a handful of times, Spain twice, and also to Argentina, Peru, Belize, and Costa Rica.
