Yearbook publishing is the ultimate, outcome-based academic experience, training students in a wide variety of areas including journalism, leadership, technology, marketing, sales and public relations. Being on yearbook staff is a privilege and a responsibility as students work independently and in groups to produce a historical document for the school: the Green and Gold yearbook. Students work as journalists reporting, interviewing, photographing, and telling the story of the year in an award-winning book. Using professional equipment, and industry-standard technology to complete assignments and design pages for the yearbook, students will also continue to populate their personal online portfolio they created in Media Publications 1 - 2. Deadline work parties, summer yearbook camps, and regional photography, design and writing competitions make Yearbook an engaging and memorable experience.
