Students learn on the job while working in leadership and editorial roles on the award-winning Green & Gold yearbook publication staff. While working on creating content for the yearbook, students will also continue to populate their personal online portfolio with upper level leadership and teambuilding skills. Managing projects and working with teams of peers as well as alongside Yearbook 1-2 students, publication staff leaders will make decisions and institute systems for producing a historical journalistic document for the community. Students organize and contribute ideas while consulting with other student editors and the adviser in a publication staff environment. Students will also compete regionally and nationally and have the opportunity to travel to national conventions. Student editors in Yearbook 3-4 are eligible for membership in the Quill and Scroll, the National Journalism Honor Society.
