DIGITAL ARTS STUDIO (8275F & 8275S)

Grades 11, 12

Prerequisite: Any one of the following courses: Digital Illustration and Animation, Graphic Design, or Digital Photography

Students will  create a portfolio which consists of multiple pieces. This course is only for the most committed, serious, and disciplined digital art students. Projects from previous art, photography and graphic art classes may be used in the portfolio. Students will also work on building online portfolios for their work and developing their own personal brand as artists. The culmination will include a visual artifact such as an art book, portfolio, demo reel, website, etc. 

 

The University of California (UC) system requires one-year of the same visual or performing art, and this course meets the requirement.
