Welcome to Journalism I! This course is part of a CTE (Career and Technical Education) program of study where students are introduced to and practice real-life skills and techniques in the Journalism & Broadcasting focus area. Students will be able to describe the diversity and variety of functions within the Journalism & Broadcasting Career Pathway and to demonstrate the writing processes used in journalism and broadcasting media. 

The course will also include aspects of media literacy and ethics. In short, students will learn about journalism practices and develop their writing skills.
