This course is geared for students with an interest in careers that use drafting skills and applications. It will expose students to the opportunities available for draft people (engineering, architectural, industrial, and so on). Students will learn basic skills and procedures of drafting by hand, and will be introduced to the basics of AutoCAD. Students will create several kinds of drawings including mechanical, furniture, and architectural and class projects will have an emphasis on communicating with those drawings. Potential Projects: Draft floor plan of "dream home", 3D design of person/place/thing of student's choosing
