The American Heart Association recently honored Willamette Primary and Lowrie Primary for their help in fighting heart disease and saving lives through The Kids Heart Challenge program last school year! In partnership with the American Heart Association, these schools engaged 1,200 students in heart-healthy lifestyle behaviors, inspired over 100 students to take a heart health pledge and raised $8,196 to help those with special hearts!
