Child Abuse Prevention Training

  • Senate Bill 379, “Child Abuse Training for School Employees, Parents, and Students” was passed into law in 2007.  The law requires all school district and education service district employees to annually participate in child abuse prevention training.

While most citizens are not mandatory reporters, we all share a responsibility to prevent child abuse and protect children.  School district employees are mandatory reporters.

“Child Abuse Identification, Prevention, and Reporting Training” is provided for your information and meets the requirements under SB 379. This training meets requirements under ORS 339.400. Please click on the link above and follow the directions given.
