Broadcasting Team - WLHSnow Live
-
We produce live streaming video of events and sports on the NFHS network. We broadcast all varsity home games for Soccer, Football, Basketball, Baseball and Lacrosse and we are always looking to add more as we grow our team. We also provide coverage of May Day, Graduation, Poetry Out Loud,
Want to join? Come sit in on one of our club meetings: Mondays at lunch in the F-Lab. You can shadow us at one of our broadcasts as well to see what it’s like to be on a video production crew. Come to a home game and come say hello! We’re looking for students interested in technology, video production and broadcasting. We need camera operators, production assistants and on-air commentary talent.
Another exciting thing about our Broadcast team is that in addition to it being a student club, you can also earn class credit! Each tri-mester (we operate around the sports seasons: Fall, Winter, Spring), you can earn a half credit for attending the weekly class meetings (Mondays at lunch) and working on at least 10 event productions during that season.
For more information on the class, check out the syllabus:
WLHSnow LIVE Production Class Syllabus (Proficiency-Based After School Video Production Credit)Hope to see you at one of our meetings!
