Yes. Service hours are completely independent from the service project. Members must complete 20 service hours each year to join. For the 2020-2021 school year, service hours must be completed 9/1/2019-9/1/2020. These hours must not have been used on a previous NHS application or as a requirement for another club/honor society. Once a member you must participate in 1 service project per semester that is hosted by an NHS  board member. Semester One projects must be complete by January 31st, 2021 and Semester Two projects must be completed by April 30th, 2021.
