Oregon is the recipient of a grant to provide funds to children experiencing food insecurity during this Pandemic.
The Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition Programs is working in close partnership with the Department of Human Services and Oregon school districts in supporting The Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) program by collecting data from schools.
Parents do not need to apply for this benefit.
If your child is already eligible for free or reduced price meals at school through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) your household will automatically receive this benefit.
If your child is not currently receiving free or reduced price meals through their school lunch program and you think they may be eligible, please apply at your earliest convenience and contact the school district nutrition services if you have any questions.
