Assessment is an important part of monitoring student learning. The West Linn-Wilsonville utilizes three forms of assessment when gauging learning progress: formative, interim, and summative assessment. Together, these three forms of assessments allow teaching staff to determine learning needs while promoting academic growth for each individual student. District staff use several assessment tools to monitor learning progress to best prepare students for college and/or career following high school graduation.
