    1930 Boys Basketball Team

West Linn played eight games in rapid succession, winning six of the eight and thus being allowed to enter the tournament at                                     Silverton. They defeated Canby and Woodburn each twice and lost two to Molalla. The season was quite long and the team                                         tipped it off by finishing second place in the Silverton tournament

    1930 Girls Basketball Team

The basketball Girls had a very successful year, being defeated only twice during the entire season, losing those two games to Canby High School.

Coach Baker developed a team of remarkable speed which played a good brand of ball throughout the entire season.

    1930 Song & Yell Leader
Much credit is due Maxine Tour for the high spirit of the school during the past year. This is Maxine's second year as song leader and she certainly has shown what she can do to arouse pep and enthusiasm at the games.

Don Farmer has been yell leader for the past two years, and he has proven himself well suited for the position. Don was always on hand at the games with a snappy yell to pep up the team and the student body. The students appreciate Don's splendid leadership.
