    1941 Football Team

    West Linn Lions tied with the Beaverton squad for the Tualatin Yamhill League Championship this year. The Lions only lost two games out of the ten played and both were away from home and played at night. Ernest Kahle won the honor of being voted the most inspirational player of the team.

    1941 Boy's Golf

    The golf team, coached by Mr. Howard, met and competed with the golf teams of other schools. Although golf is publicized in the school very little, the boys get a lot of pleasure from the competition.

    1941 Boy's Tennis 

    The tennis Team was very active this year thanks to a program of intramural and extramural competition. They participated in many meets and gave a fine showing acting under the advice of Coach Oliver.

    1941 Boy's Wrestling
    The Wrestling Team enjoyed a successful season this year, losing only four meets out of fifteen held. Four men were sent to state this year and John Morrison reached semi-finals. Coach Newton will not coach the team next season, but he states that the prospects for next year are very good.

    1941 Girl's Sports Awards

    Each year the girls in the school follow an intramural program through which they win awards. In this competition the girls earn points and thus win their letters. The sports include swimming, softball, badminton, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and table tennis.
